I’m only slightly behind in getting this post up… Last month I had the chance to spend a wonderful weekend in Cincinnati where I finally got to see PANIC AT THE DISCO. The middle school fangirl in me had an absolute field day. The show was held at Bogart’s — one of my all-time favorite venues because it’s super intimate and there really isn’t a place in the room with a bad view. Panic had two opening acts — X Ambassadors (who I absolutely fell in love with) and The Colourist. I got some AMAZING pictures of Brendon Urie, as seen below, from my new digital camera that I got for Christmas! The show was completely worth the drive and braving the winter storm that hit us the night before. We crashed that night in a Microtel just outside of the city and it was a solid stay. Not much more you could ask for for the price. Sunday was spent shopping! I had my first experience with IKEA — I bought a neat little scarf rack, a super soft and cozy blanket, and fleece to make a tie-blanket with (as seen in my tutorial!). We also went to the AWESOME mall up there and shopped the rest of the day. All in all, the weekend was amazing and I can’t wait to add more shows to my schedule in 2014. Making a whole weekend out of concerts in other cities is one of my favorite things to do!
