This weekend, I got to check out Cincinnati’s Findlay Market for the first time and it was a definite treat! The market is partly outdoors and partly enclosed, but not even the rain could deter me from this cute little slice of the city. Being in Findlay Market immediately reminded me of the open air markets in Mexico and Costa Rica when I was traveling and studying abroad. While we have Farmer’s Markets in Kentucky, they are less permanent establishments, are not open daily, and are usually focused on fresh fruits and vegetables. Lunch came from Fresh Table and I was so hungry I forgot to snap a pic! It was a delicious (and spicy!) Italian pasta salad and a massive crab cake full of fresh and organic peppers.
Before heading home, I got to stop at an adorable little boutique in Alexandria, KY called True Adorn. I got the perfect white dress to wear for the Red, White & Boom Music Festival or the Fourth of July celebrations downtown. They began as an online store, but just opened up a sweet little store front!

The real reason I went to Cincinnati this weekend was to visit a close friend who is taking a huge leap and moving to Mexico to teach! I am so proud of her, and she constantly reminds me to keep pursuing my dreams, keep traveling, and always chase my wildest ambitions. Best of luck, Ashley!
Until next time Cincy,
