Coming back to reality from a very fun weekend sure is difficult! I am in the process of revamping my closet, preparing for back to school (style, and education if I must), and getting ready to start working my second job! Summer has gone by SO fast I can hardly believe it. If you’re keeping up with national weather, you might know that it appears to be monsoon season in Kentucky. It has rained nearly everyday for the past two weeks — making it really difficult to joy the last little bit of freedom and pool time we have left before school starts back. Luckily, I snagged a few sunny moments for some new outfit photos and a shopping day!
Showing off my favorite sweatshirt of all time from this shoot today! This adorable and comfy sweatshirt is part of the shop of an AWESOME initiative called Kentucky for Kentucky that has attempted to re-brand Kentucky by highlighting local shops, sights, crafts, and talent. It was a wee bit hot out on the day of this shoot for this sweatshirt, but this outfit is perfect for campus in the fall, brunches or morning coffee with friends. The sweatshirt is soft and has a slight vintage wash that makes it perfect to pair with other textures such as these eyelet shorts from Old Navy a few seasons back. This is a rather modest look with shorts with a 4 inch inseam, but has been dressed up by fun and tall wedges.
As always, thank you to my photographer, DR Productions, for patience and dedication to keeping awesome images on my site! Coming soon: Fall previews, Keeneland style, & back to school!
