If you’ve been following along on social media, you’ve seen me experience the woes of a new homeowner these last few weeks. Life hasn’t been peachy, and we’ve been doing our best to roll with the punches. I’m looking forward to a few months down the road when this whole situation is laughable and I can kick my feet up in this home I’ve made without worry. For now, I’m chasing the weekends and soaking up every bit of summer that is passing too quickly. My new back patio is the perfect summer retreat when a staycation is all that’s in the cards. I’m counting the days to my real upcoming vacation. Any guesses on the destination? Today, I’m sharing a few refreshing cocktail options all paired with Sparkling Ice fruit flavored water now available at Amazon. Read on for the recipe.
What You’ll Need:
- Clear liquor of your choice – we are using Gin
- Sparkling Ice Kiwi Strawberry available here
- Fresh limes
- Simple syrup
Beverage Assembly
These cocktails featuring the prettiest fizzy water are the easiest to make whether you’re entertaining a crowd or sharing a quick adult beverage with your other half. In your favorite cocktail class, combine 1 shot of clear liquor of choice (gin or vodka), 1.5 cup Sparkling Ice Kiwi Strawberry, 1 teaspoon of simple syrup, and a spritz of lime juice. Stir and serve with a paper straw (save the sea turtles!) and a lime wedge garnish. Many of the flavors shown here could easily be substituted in this cocktail to suit your flavor preferences. Since I’m primarily a bourbon gal, my next take on the Sparkling Ice cocktail will feature the Ginger Lime sparkling water with Bulliet bourbon and lime. I’m all for any drink the cuts sugar and calories and hydrates during consumption 😉 You can find all 16 Sparkling Ice flavors here or at your local retail store.
