If I could relive our wedding day over and over, I undoubtedly would. Want to join me on that nostalgic journey? Today, I have the privilege of introducing you to one of our very special vendors, For Your Party. Early on in planning, I vowed to keep as much of our wedding as possible supported by either local, women- or minority-owned businesses. For Your Party met that goal as they are a small, Chicago-based business that is woman-owned!
I’ve never really cared much about some of the smaller details of weddings like linens or napkins, but I came to realize some of the most photographed elements of weddings are items that appear in guests’ hands throughout the day and reception. Ultimately, we chose items that reflected a warm, sophisticated theme that ended up pairing perfectly with our vineyard celebration.
For the actual event, my first choice was drinkware. I love the look of the frosted cocktail cups and wine glasses. They are extremely durable and able to be used more than once as compared to paper cup options. We chose an elegant interlocking monogram of both our first initials for the design. It was simple, like our vision for the day, and effortless. Our colors ranged from deep wine to mauve to burnt orange with gold accents, and the For Your Party items complemented our florals and fabrics seamlessly by incorporating a similar palette. Among my favorite items from the day were the cocktail napkins and drink stirrers. The napkins we used have a beautiful woven texture and appear to have a linen quality. They were used in full at our small event! Further, the wooden drink stirrers add an adorable bit of flair to beverages and, in turn, photos that add to the classiness of the event and carry your theme further into the party. Both matchbooks and thank you cards are paper goods that live on beyond your actual event, and continuously encourage guests to reflect on the celebration of our marriage.
Ultimately, For Your Party has one of the largest, on trend selections of wedding paper goods and details that I found on the market. As a company, their brand is energetic and ready to serve you for your big event. From the moment we began connecting, I felt celebrated and respected as a client. That’s not something you get from every vendor on your day. All clients have access to design support to help them put together an order that is both unique and streamlined for their event. Very few vendors out there offer such attentive service when planning personalized items. As weddings and events adapt in 2020, For Your Party even offers custom disposable masks to make your event both safe and stylish.
Rachel, who I worked with at For Your Party, was joyful and kind during our planning process. Rachel’s passion for what she does is evident: “Working with our influencers for their biggest days; engagement parties, bridal showers, bachelor(ette) weekends, wedding receptions, birthdays, and more is one of the most rewarding experiences I can imagine. Smiles from our clients at their events truly never get old. To be part of memories these ladies and gentlemen will hold close to their hearts forever is immensely rewarding. Sarah and Alan were so fabulous to work with and I think it shows in their beyond gorgeous customized decor!”
